Sexual Sin in the Worship Team

It was a powerful concert, oh my the crowd loved the concert.

Back in the Hotel Room, his female backup singers were all over his room in night gowns, one by one they left and it was left with one, she had dosed off (yeah right!!), mister worship minister soon started touching things and soon sister BV singer responded, it was a hot wild night. The next morning she went into her hotel room with a Bible, as if nothing had happened.

His lead vocalist always served him breakfast every time they traveled, she came in, also got busy bending and trying fix breakfast, we know what that is sister top treble singer, signals were not needed, we all know why you are there, soon door was locked and Minister had a good breakfast.

The band had their share that same night, soon it was time for the next worship night, the crowd ready to receive from “”Jesus”” (Really?).

Behind the stage, worship minister is busy with his phone, in his dressing room enjoying text messages from we know them right and nude pictures from them.

His whatsapp was busy, “I know right”!!
What.  to prayer? Oh I forgot the prayer team does that.

People paid to come experience God, but see how we prepare for them behind the scene.

Choir rehearsal was good, the pastor was teaching on Holiness on Sunday.

Bro James after rehearsal always had to make one of the sisters carry his Bible and follow him home, every Saturday night before service. He had extra rehearsal in his room with different instruments.

Early Sunday morning he is always the one to lead the church in worship, in his suit and his branded shoe. All you will see is a saint.

See what we do to the Church?

Like it or not, sexual sin happens and it happens in music teams all over the world. It is usually hushed up and all parties pretend it is not going on, but there is definitely a tension within worship teams that makes this not only a hot topic, but an absolute necessity for anyone in the worship team to listen to!

Worship leaders and Music ministers watching porn, music ministers sleeping with backup vocals in hotel rooms, bathrooms, bed rooms and other rooms.

Yes!! the ones you boast about having powerful spiritual gifts.

What you do not know is their secret life of sexual sin. What you do not see beneath the anointed singing and preaching, the gifts of the Spirit, and the successful ministry is the hidden depths of this person’s heart. There you will find the deceitfulness of “evil thoughts … adultery, sexual immorality” (Matthew 15:19), a wickedness so unclean it defies sound logic and reason when it erupts and affects a growing church and the souls we are to be reaching.

So let us not rush for the fame and popularity because they come with more of these troubles, what we need to spend time doing as worship ministers is working on our weaknesses before seeking the name. That very name you seek can make you fall.

And please church members help us, because some of us our weak, some of you come around us with your own evil motives, to just make us fall. See what we have done to what Jesus died for.

Outnumbered and overwhelmed

The Midianite army of 135,000 badly outnumbered the Israelites, who only had 32,000 men ready for battle. But even that was too many. God instructed Gideon to reduce his army to only 300 men! Before the battle, Gideon worshipped God and then divided his men into three companies. Their weapons were only trumpets and empty jars with torches inside them!

God wanted Israel to know that victory do es not depend on strength or numbers, but on obedience and commitment to Him. As proof, the Midianite army fell before them without the Israelites drawing a single sword.

What in your life seems too hard to conquer? “Midianites” sometimes come in the form of parenting challenges when we feel outnumbered and overwhelmed. Whatever you’re facing, remember that the battle is God’s. Don’t let fear overcome your faith. But like Gideon, remember that we are never prepared to do battle until we bow in worship to God.

Make your choice for faith and trust that God will fight for you.
