And he asked him,What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

Mark 5:9

Jesus taught that when an evil spirit is cast out he goes for a seven-member-team of demons, (Matthew 12:45).

Spirits of brokenheartedness, disappointment, depression, suicide, and death team up quite often. The spirits of sorrow, despair, and death often work together. The spirit of insecurity, fear, accusations, selfishness, self-preservation and hatred also work well together.

The ultimate desire of demons is to inhabit human beings in large groups. A quarrelsome person is usually also proud, stubborn, cantankerous, divorce-prone and deceived. These make up an effective team of evil spirits, which work to destroy an individual. The spirit of lying and stealing often go together. Spirits of jealousy, hatred and murder often work together. The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ was crucified because of jealousy,(Mark 15:10).

There is often a complicated network of evil spirits that seem to engulf any evil situation. Counselling with married couples often reveals a complex array of unsolvable problems. Offences pile, and it leads to bitterness and unforgiveness. The unforgiveness leads to revenge and further hurt, hatred, fighting, murder and divorce. Deception and divorce often live together. Most people who divorce are deceived into thinking there is someone better than their spouse out there.

It is important to know about some of the teams of demons that commonly work together, to fight the enemy effectively.
